GF&M Law Firm Expands in 2012
Gordon, Fournaris & Mammarella has experienced unprecedented growth in 2012, adding eight individuals to its highly skilled staff of attorneys and paralegals. GF&M specializes in Trusts and Estate Planning, Fiduciary Litigation, Business Planning and Transactions, Captive Insurance, Commercial Real Estate, Land Use and Zoning, Corporate and Commercial Litigation and Taxation.
Norris P.Wright and David A. Diamond are well respected attorneys that have joined GF&M with expertise in the area of Trust and Estate Planning. Norris is a Director at GF&M and is currently a member of both the Asset Protection and the Fiduciary Litigation Committees of ACTEC. David is a member of the Delaware State Bar Association, Estates & Trusts Section, as well as the Delaware Estate Planning Council.
With the addition of the experience of Jeff K. Simpson and Andrew Rennick, Captive Insurance has instantly become a key area of practice at GF&M. Simpson is a founder and director of the Delaware Captive Insurance Association. Rennick serves as a Guardian ad litem for the Office of Child Advocate, representing the interests of abused and neglected children in Delaware. Jeff and Andy's practice focuses on the formation, regulation and governance of captive insurance companies.
Neil R. Lapinski has been added as Director of GF&M's litigation department. Neil represents clients in complex issues involving fiduciary litigation, commercial and contract litigation, tax disputes, and adversary actions related to Chapter 11 bankruptcy proceedings.
Associates Shannon L. Dawson, Charles P. O'Brien and Kristen W. Poff joined GF&M as the firm expands to meet its client demand. Chip has extensive experience in transactional matters involving Delaware statutory trusts and other alternative entities, including the representation of banks and trust companies involved in asset securitizations, real estate financings and structured finance transactions. Shannon is currently admitted to practice in the State of Delaware, the State of New Jersey and the State of Pennsylvania and is also a member of the Taxation section of the American Bar Association. Kristen’s practice focuses on Delaware trust law, including directed trusts, dynasty trusts, asset protection trusts and all aspects of the validity, construction and administration of Delaware trusts.
