Peter S. Gordon Elected ACTEC Vice President for 2023-2024
A founding Director of Gordon, Fournaris & Mammarella, P.A., Peter S. Gordon, has been a Fellow of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel (ACTEC) since 1989. Peter served in several roles within ACTEC, and at the March 2023 annual meeting in New Orleans, Peter was elected Vice President. Prior to his election, Peter served on the Board of Regents, which is the governing body of ACTEC, and he was serving on the Executive Committee at the time of his election. Peter has practiced in the areas of trusts and estate planning, as well as fiduciary litigation, for more than 40 years.
Established in 1949, ACTEC is a national nonprofit association of approximately 2,400 lawyers and law professors from throughout the United States and abroad. ACTEC members (Fellows) are peer-elected based on professional reputation and expertise in the preparation of wills and trusts, estate planning, probate, trust administration, and related practice areas. The College's mission includes the improvement and reform of probate, trust, and tax laws and procedures and professional practice standards. ACTEC frequently offers technical comments regarding legislation and regulations but does not take positions on matters of policy or political objectives.
